Jim's Impact on his Community

Hank Menke
President/CEO at OFS
As President and CEO of OFS Brands, Inc., a family-owned company that has proudly served the contract office, healthcare, hospitality, and higher education furniture markets for 90 years, I have had the privilege of knowing Jim Huebner for over 18 years.
Jim joined OFS Brands in April 2008 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Through his exceptional leadership, integrity, and unwavering commitment to our organization, he was promoted to Chief of Staff and now serves as a member of our Board of Directors.
Beyond OFS, Jim has dedicated his time and talents to our community, including serving on the Board of Directors for Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. What I admire most about Jim is the way he has always balanced his faith, his family, his career, and his commitment to serving others. He and his wife, Nancy, have shared 45 wonderful years of marriage. They are proud parents of Grant (married to Hannah Kate) and Annie, and delighted grandparents to their granddaughter, Ella James. Family has always been at the center of Jim's life.
Today, at a young 68 years old, Jim is facing kidney failure and is in need of a living kidney donor.
If you have ever considered becoming a living donor, I encourage you to learn more about the process and consider whether you might be able to help. A living kidney donation has the power to transform—and even save—a life.
Jim has spent his career giving generously of himself to our company, our associates, and our community. Now he needs our support. Please keep Jim and his family in your thoughts and prayers, and if you feel called to explore the possibility of becoming a donor, your generosity could make an extraordinary difference.
Our Thoughts and Prayers are with Jim and his family.

Tom & Jeanne Heltzel
Long time friends
We first met Jim Huebner in August of 1994. He and Nancy and my wife, Jeanne, became fast friends and it has lasted for thirty years. Jim is no doubt one of the finest people I have ever known.
His work on the board of Memorial Hospital guided that institution through difficult years and installed it in a larger hospital organization that will guarantee the continuation of medical services to the community for years to come.
His work at OFS has helped guide that company to great success and provided many jobs in the area and added new furniture divisions that should keep it growing in the years ahead.
Jim is an intelligent and thoughtful man, a great husband and father, and a great friend. At my age I’m probably not a good candidate to donate a kidney but if I could, I would.
Please support Jim in his search for a new kidney.

Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo
I have had the privilege of working with Jim through a long-standing business relationship. Over the years, I have come to know Jim as a trusted client, respected business partner, and even better person. What has always stood out to me is his unwavering integrity, professionalism, and genuine commitment to the people around him. Jim has built strong relationships throughout his career by treating others with respect, listening first, and consistently following through on his commitments. Those qualities have earned him the trust of colleagues, customers, and business partners alike.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jim is the kind of person who makes a lasting impact on the people fortunate enough to work with him. He leads with humility, demonstrates genuine care for others, and approaches every challenge with a positive and thoughtful perspective. Throughout our years working together, I have always admired his character and the way he brings people together. Jim's influence extends far beyond the organizations he has led, and I am grateful to have known him both professionally and personally as a friend.
It is my hope that someone is able to step up for Jim, as he’s always stepped up for others.

Founder at Control Solutions Inc.

Jim Huebner came to work with me and my father in the early 1980's. He was young, enthusiastic, motivated and had a heart of gold that captivated. He was married to a bright, beautiful young lady that was also starting her own career. They had not even started thinking of kids yet ! Wow, they did that right as time went on!
When Jim came to work beside me, it was a joy because we made each other better people and we infected the whole management team of the company that was very young. Jim had a profound impact on my life and the other people that worked with us. After my father and I sold our company, he ultimately took those skills and used them to impact other people and other companies.
He is someone that you can be inspired to emulate. He is and will always be my FRIEND.

I have had the honor and privilege of working with Jim while employed at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center. Jim has volunteered his time and talent as a hospital board member and Board Chairman for many years. He is kind, caring, encouraging, and understands the challenges and complexity of healthcare. His work and support as board chair has helped to propel the hospital into the growing healthcare organization that it is today. He has been there for so many.
Please see if you can help him in his time of need!
